Ncc marching contigent for sports day rehersal today..Quite sian lah.And yea,another fight broke out today.Something not quite unusual actually.
Tomorrow sports day liaoz.If not for the marching thing,it like ludicrously pointless to go there and rot.Hy was mentioning abt bringing bolsters there 2 slp.Lols.Did i forgot to mention?It in only starts after sch.Damn!Rehersed the near-full version of the whole event for tmrw.Practically standing there and staring and the spectator's stand.But then again,dunno why somehow feels good,anyway its just part of ncc,and it ROCKS!(For some weird reason that is)
Love NCC lah.Especially when tio pumped and drill like siao.The after feeling is damn shiok.Today not that horrible.None of the Platoon Sg come today,so cant get the ampulet thingy,have to buy them myself...lols.More 'glorifying' if received from sch,isn it?
Then again i wonder.Why some cohort receive their ranks so fast,sometimes prematurely according to the HQ style.During camp feast two months ago some of my friends,whom i forgotton their names(Sry lah)were disscusing this issue.Let A,B,C be the names.Let sir be the person talking to us.

A:Why now some of us still privates?Part B still rankless.When we stand next to Some part B's we all lower rank.
B:Ya lor.Damn funny .Worse still,some part A's are alomost getting their coporal ranks soon and we are still private.Or is it anyhow promotion?
C:Sir tell us lehs.We need to know.
Sir:It depends.Give examples of schs who are 'late' in promotion
A:Me lor.MY Sch win some awards and worse still,sch is ranked higher then those sch of ppl who are 1 rank abv me.
Sir:I get it.You see,different sch have different expectations.Doesnt mean you are currently lowered rank then others you are less in abilities then them.These ranks are of no value if you dont even deserve it.Dont you think to have your ranks early but not at that expected standard
is not good?Might as well be competent first and truly earn this rank,then to have a slipshot standard and go around saying you are this rank and so.It just a front and really depicts your abilities.Your true abilities comes to light when you are tested.By then if you have a rank higher than others but lack in many aspects compared to them,dont you find it embarrasing?
B:So you implying that late promo schs are better or worse?
Sir:It depends.For such cases,perhaps your sch have higher standards and only allow you the rank when you have truly proven yourself,resulting in such cases.Examples are high ranked schs like Vs so and so forth.And there's loads of gd ncc schs doing the same as well.Dont think your sch's lousy just because of this.Dont worry,its very common and this is a more prefered way for those higher ranked ones.But they are many sch who
have outstanding performance but yet have earlier promotion.But my view is that dont promote too early,or you will find that you are demeanouring yourself.Just be the best in everything.(Walks away to conduct colours)
